Addictive Trigger

XLN Audio Addictive Trigger + Drum Vault Bundle

Powerful Drum Replacement. Studio-Quality Sound. Complete Creative Control.

Take your drum production to the next level with the XLN Audio Addictive Trigger + Drum Vault Bundle — a powerful drum replacement solution designed to transform recorded drums into punchy, polished, mix-ready performances.

Whether you need a tighter kick, a more aggressive snare, bigger toms, or a completely different drum character, Addictive Trigger makes it easy to replace or layer your original drum hits with professionally recorded sounds. Combined with the Drum Vault expansion, this bundle gives you an extensive collection of carefully selected drum samples and production-ready presets to help your tracks hit harder.

Intelligent Drum Replacement

At the heart of Addictive Trigger is XLN Audio's unique Audio Fingerprint detection technology. Instead of relying solely on volume thresholds, it analyzes the spectral characteristics of drum hits to help distinguish the intended drum from unwanted microphone bleed.

• Accurate Hit Detection: Identify kick, snare, and tom hits in recorded drum tracks, including softer ghost notes.
• Audio Fingerprint Technology: Improve triggering accuracy by distinguishing target hits from bleed and other unwanted transients.
• SuperStart: Get suitable detection settings quickly and spend less time on manual adjustments.
• Replace or Layer: Completely replace the original drum sound or blend it with additional samples for more impact and character.
• MIDI Generation: Convert detected drum hits into MIDI for further editing or use with compatible drum instruments.

Drum Vault Expansion Included

Expand your sound palette with Drum Vault, a carefully curated collection of professionally recorded drum sounds selected from XLN Audio's extensive recording library.

The expansion includes a selection of distinctive kicks, snares, toms, and percussion, giving you more options to shape the tone, punch, and character of your drum recordings.

• Kicks: Solid low-end, punchy attacks, and powerful kick sounds for different production styles.
• Snares: Characterful snare tones to add presence, body, snap, and definition.
• Toms: Multiple tom sizes and tonal options for fills, transitions, and fuller drum performances.
• Percussion & Extras: Additional sounds for adding variation and extra character to your productions.
• Production-Ready Presets: Quickly audition different drum sounds and find options that work with your mix.

A Versatile Collection of Professional Drum Sounds

The combined bundle includes 200+ presets and 30+ Trigger Kit Pieces, providing a broad selection of sounds for replacing, layering, and enhancing recorded drums.

From natural acoustic drum tones to punchier, more produced sounds, you can experiment with different combinations until your drums fit the track. The included presets provide a fast starting point, while adjustable sound options let you tailor the results to your production.

Designed for Real-World Mixing

Addictive Trigger is especially useful when your original drum recordings lack impact, consistency, or the right tonal character. Rather than starting the entire recording process over, you can enhance the performance using carefully selected samples while retaining the feel of the original drummer.

• Give weak kicks more weight and definition.
• Add punch, presence, and clarity to snares.
• Improve the consistency of drum hits throughout a performance.
• Blend sampled drums with acoustic recordings for a fuller sound.
• Experiment with alternative drum tones without re-recording the kit.
• Export generated MIDI for use with compatible third-party drum instruments.
