Six Creative Drum Modules
DB-30's six modules are carefully designed to work together, giving you a complete drum-processing chain while keeping the controls simple and musical.
Boom Shack
Add low-end weight and top-end character with a dual-purpose module. Boom reinforces the low end around the kick and can enter Acid Mode for more aggressive, growling bass tones, while Shack adds noisy texture, bite and character to snares and hi-hats.
Shift
Transform the tonal identity of your drums by shifting frequency and formant independently or together. Use it subtly for flavor or push it further for dramatic drops, transitions and evolving rhythmic effects.
Space
Add depth, width and atmosphere with a collection of drum-friendly reverberation styles. Space ranges from subtle room ambience to larger vintage-inspired spaces and more unusual environments, with controls for pan, width, decay and stretch.
Compress
Shape punch, impact and glue with six compression modes designed specifically for drums. DB-30 simplifies techniques such as parallel, upward, downward, single-band and multiband compression into intuitive controls.
Saturate
Add warmth, harmonics, grit and distortion to your drums. Six saturation modes range from subtle coloration to aggressive processing, while the Target control lets you focus the effect on transients or sustain.
