The included factory library contains more than 230 GB of meticulously sampled drum sounds, recorded in extreme detail to provide a highly flexible foundation for professional drum production.
The library includes multiple kits, kicks, snares, cymbals, percussion and electronic sounds, along with extensive microphone options and detailed room and ambience recordings.
You can use the sounds exactly as recorded, combine instruments from different kits, layer sounds together or completely reshape them inside the Superior Drummer 3 mixer.

Search for grooves, fills and song parts, drag MIDI directly into your DAW or build complete drum arrangements inside Superior Drummer 3 using the Song Track and Grid Editor.
MIDI performances can be edited extensively, including timing, velocity, quantization, swing and individual articulations, giving you precise control over the final performance.
Tracker — Audio to MIDI
Tracker analyzes recorded drum audio and converts the performance into MIDI. This makes it possible to replace, augment or reinforce recorded drums while preserving the timing and feel of the original performance.
Simply load your drum recording into Tracker, analyze the performance and use the generated MIDI to trigger the Superior Drummer 3 sounds.
E-Drums & Electronic Production
Superior Drummer 3 is also designed for electronic drum kits, providing detailed MIDI mapping and extensive control over articulations and performance behavior.
The included electronic sounds can also be combined with the acoustic kits to create hybrid drum sounds for modern productions.
